Since 1974,
Mr. Roessner has been involved in the Surveying, Engineering and
Architectural Professions as a draftsman, cadd operator,
instrument person, crew chief, project representative, designer
and project director, In addition to these duties he has served
as computer systems administrator and has developed an automated
"field to finish" plan preparation system utilizing a
Total Station, data collection and computerized drafting
techniques. Mr. Roessner is proficient with a variety of computer
applications including Autocad, Intergraph, GDS, Softdesk, Eagle
Point, C & G Survey Systems and Moss.
His
experience with data collection systems include Topcon, Sokkia,
Nikon, Surveyor's Module, Inc., Tripod Data System, Trimble GPS
and Ashtech GPS.

Record - Computer Aided Drafting and Design
Mr.
Roessner has responsibility for the operation, maintenance,
training, and specifying of computer systems, which includes
Autocad and Softdesk civil engineering software on PCs. His CADD
experience began with GDS McDonnell Douglas CADD software running
on a Prime Mini computer system in 1983.
Mr.
Roessner is also experienced with Intergraph Microstation
Software on workstations and PCs. He has taught CADD techniques
and computer configurations at Vo-Education classes and
Professional Land Surveying seminars and is involved with
evaluating and the testing of new software releases.
Mr.
Roessner coordinates the planning, processing quality control,
and timeliness of completion for the computerization of
topographic mapping from field and surveying methods. He has
coordinated multidisciplined projects such as the Perry Schools
Kindergarten through twelfth grade Education Village and sports
facilities encompassing a 300 acre site, and three dimensional
modeling of classrooms for interior designs. Lake Hospitals
Ambulatory Care Centers 110 acre site ODOT Interstate 271 High
Speed lane design involving five sets of bridges and twelve miles
of roadway.

Municipal
Mr.
Roessner has performed numerous reviews of subdivisions, building
grades, and lot splits for conformance with zoning regulations
and building codes. He also has prepared plans, specifications,
and cost estimates for paving, sidewalk, sewer and water
improvements. In addition, he has supervised fieldwork,
compilation of data, and the preparation of a sewer system
evaluation survey report for 282 miles of sanitary sewer. He also
has performed record research, computations, and the
computerization of assessments for sanitary sewers involving 1,800
property owners.
Highways
Mr.
Roessner has performed right-of-way, topographic, horizontal and
vertical control surveys, and prepared easements for ODOT
improvements to city, rural and interstate roadways and bridges.
He has prepared plans, specifications, and cost estimates for
roadway improvements, including ODOT and Ohio Turnpike projects.
Architecture
Mr.
Roessner has performed estimating, scheduling, record research,
field work and design for the preparation of site plans for
restaurants, ball diamonds, public schools, hospitals, industrial
buildings, and office buildings. He has also coordinated the
preparation of construction drawings for detailed design of
architectural, HVAC, Electrical, Structural and Plumbing
disciplines on cadd.

Roessner has supervised and performed land surveys, volumetric
surveys, mine surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking,
deed abstracting, record research, and the preparation of site
plans, plats and legal descriptions.
Sanitary
Sewer Improvements Surveying and Mapping
Mr.
Roessner is responsible for the field work involving horizontal
control based on State Plane Coordinate system and vertical
control based on USC & GS elevations for the aerial mapping
of serer routes and pump station sites. Also involved in the
planning, field surveying, processing of data, quality control
and timeliness of completion for the integration of field data
with the aerial mapping and computerization of data for use with
cadd for 26 miles of sewers and four pump stations.

Sewer Design
Mr.
Roessner is responsible for the field work, preparation of plans
utilizing CADD, specifications and cost estimate for 7,500 feet
of sewer along with preparing and obtaining easements.

Force Main Design
Mr.
Roessner performed field work, preparation of plans,
specifications and cost estimate for 4,000 feet of force main.

Sewer Rehabilitation
Mr.
Roessner prepared plans, specifications and cost estimate for 20
miles of mainline sewer grouting, repair and manhole sealing.
Water
Line Design
Mr.
Roessner prepared plans for 13,600 feet of 42 inch water line
that included tunneling for two streams. Also responsible for
field work, cadd mapping, plans, specifications and cost estimate
for 5 miles of 2 to 10 inch water lines.
Water/Wastewater
Treatment Plant Improvements
Mr.
Roessner was responsible for the scheduling and development of
detailed plans by layering drawings for electrical, mechanical
and architectural requirements using cadd.
Street
Improvements
Mr.
Roessner performed field surveying and prepared plans,
specifications and cost estimates for the 500 foot extension of
concrete roadway, storm sewer and water line for a commercial
roadway. Responsible for right-of-way surveys, horizontal and
vertical control, cadd mapping and preparation of easements for
an Ohio Department Of Transportation street improvement of 3,500
feet of a city street and 6,500 feet of rural roadway.

specifications and cost estimates for 11,000 feet of sidewalk.
